The work in our laboratory is centred around the fabrication and applications of microfluidic devices. We are working on different aspects of microfluidics for various applications. Bringing together the concept of chemical engineering, chemistry, biology and physics, a number of interdisciplinary projects are being carried out. The major expertise of our group is towards the fabrication of microfluidic devices using conventional (lithography) as well as some in-house developed strategies depending upon the target application. Starting from the fabrication of microfluidic devices, our group hold expertise in synthesizing diverse nanostructures through microreactor based flow chemistry route. We are using nano enabled microfluidic systems for various applications like inline photocatalysis, cell sorting, drug delivery etc.
